Mangalore 22nd May:It is said, “seeing is believing and practice makes a person perfect”. The selected 10 Ladies who had recently completed the 6 months’ course on Tailoring and Embroidery at Karmbar, Bajpe organized by Samanvaya Mangalore in memory of late Fr Bernard D’Souza, had a day’s field trip to enhance their knowledge in Fashion Designing and Interior Decorations.

At first they visited Samanvaya and had the input session on Value Based Good Manners through slides. Rev. Dr Ronald Cutinha the director of Samanvaya was the resource person.

The co-ordinator of Sahodaya Bethany Social Service Centre Sr Prema led the next visit to Karavali College to view the Fashion Designing and to learn about Interior Decorations. Mr Sinnur the Principal of the Fashion Designing Course and Mr Suraj the Interior Designing lecturer explained the core of the subjects vividly. A number of Designs drawn by the Karavali College Fashion Designing students were viewed.

The end point of the field visit was Panamboor sea beach. The whole day was spent fruitfully and usefully.
