SAMANVAYA ® invites Philanthropists worldwide to start Endowment Funds

Samanvaya is a registered public charitable trust started in 1998, operates from Mangalore, India. It is actively involved in the transformation of marginalized, economically downtrodden and educationally backward people.  It aims at paradigm shift through quality education and awareness programmes.   In the past 11 years, through various collaborators Samanvaya has organized and conducted more than 810 seminars/workshops/trainings in HRD, Environment, Women Empowerment and Inter-religious Harmony; assisted over 450 students to a tune of Rs 36 lakhs as free scholarships; 18 research publications are brought out; 85 women have been trained in job oriented skills and taken keen interest in women leadership leading towards personal, social and political empowerment through Panchayat Raj (local self government). It has created 5 funds for the various social causes in the yester years.  Thanks to the donors of these funds. These funds have given us strong impetus to work relentlessly for less fortunate people. The year 2010 being a year of great challenges, the administrators and the Trustees of Samanvaya invite a few more philanthropists to start a few endowment funds under its auspices. Those who wish to create endowment funds for any specific purpose are most welcome to do so. Transparency is the most significant key of our organization.  This key has exposed our relentless social work to the nook and corner of the world.   The funds we already have are:

  1. Rev. Fr Bernard D’souza Memorial Education Fund
  2. Mrs Cecilia D’silva Memorial Social Development Fund
  3. Mrs Krithi Riana Moras Memorial Welfare Fund
  4. Mr Ignatius Norbert Pinto Memorial Development Fund
  5. JESESCO Higher Education Fund
