The 10,000 Sq feet area on the ground floor of Sahyadri College of Technology will be used as the counseling centre and there will be separate spaces for the Inspection section, Registration section, and Reviewing section. The proceeding will be projected on the giant LCD screens and blue prints for installing server and networking is prepared in consultation with Technical committee of the Authority. This will enable the networking with Bangalore and other centers. The authority in collaboration with BSNL has availed a leased line and satellite connectivity. The centre will also have a Banking counter and Canteen facilities.

There will be mock counseling done to test the accuracy and working of the system in March and the centre will be operational from the month of June to August. The starting of the centre was a much felt need as it will mean saving of time and hassles to candidates and their parents.
