Mangalore: The correspondent of St. Sebestian Pry School and Holy Angel Higher Primary School Permannur had organized a refresher and motivational workshop to their teaching staff at St. Sebestian Church hall, Permannur on June 17, 2010.

The resource persons Sr. Mabel D’Souza,  the women co-ordinator of Samanvaya and  Rev. Dr Ronald Cutinha director of Samanvaya explained the duties of a good teacher, need of commitment and dedication, unearthing of the talents of students etc. through various incidents, stories and PowerPoint presentations. The group discussion on ideal teacher, problems faced by the teachers, teacher-student relations and need of Value education in schools was an important part of the workshop.  

Rev. Fr. Thomas D’Souza, correspondent of the schools welcomed and introduced the resource persons. Mrs. Clara Veigas proposed Vote of Thanks.  46 teachers participated in this workshop.
