Mangalore : Fiona and Jyothsna, the students  of MS(Software Technology), AIMIT, St Aloysius College (Autonomous), Mangalore won the first prize for their case study on Mobile Computing &  School Children presented during the State level semianr and case study in Mobilecomputing and future trends, organzied by Mount Carmel College , Bangalore.. There were elelven teams aprticpating. The programme was held on 1 and 2 sept.

One more team of students from AIMIT won the overall championship in GATEWAYS 2010, the National Level IT fest organized by CHRIST UNIVERSITY, Bangalore on 3 and 4th Sept 2010. Twenty two colleges participated in the national level fest. Vikyath Jain and Elden D’souza bagged 1st place in Treasure Hunt, Fiona Sequeira won 1st place in debate, Mohammad Fahad and Nikhil Ramesh won 1st place in web designing, Vikyath Jain, Nikhil Ramesh, Elden D’souza ,Mohammad Fahad and Dinesh as a team won Gaming event and in surprise event(Mad ads) Fiona Sequeira, Tripti, Nikhil Ramesh Jyothsna.PJ and Mohammad Fahad bagged 1st place. In event Collage Fiona, Tripti, Jyothsna, Sudeesh,Tony bagged 2nd place, Mohammad Fahad and Nikhil Ramesh won 2nd in event Animation.
